Alistair Hacking drives his 1902 Arrol-Johnston dogcart across Westminster Bridge in front of the Houses of Parliament in London on November 2, 2014 as they take part in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. The first Brighton Run was held in 1896 to celebrate the Locomotives on the Highway Act. Today generally only cars built before January 1, 1905 are eligible to take part in the annual run that sees hundreds of participants drive from London to Brighton at an average speed of around 20 mph.
