Sporting Club of Bastia (SCB) President Pierre-Marie Geronimi (R) walks around with Bastia interim coach Didier Tholot on November 3, 2014 at the training center in Bastia after the board of directors of the football club announced that Bastia head coach Claude Makelele had been fired. Makelele, 41, was appointed in the summer but lasted just 12 L1 games in charge of the Corsicans, winning two. The final straw was the November 1 1-0 defeat away to Guingamp which left Bastia second from bottom in the top flight.
