CANADA-ATTACKS-FRANCE-DIPLOMACY
French President Francois Hollande(C), arrives with Prime Minister Stephen Harper(R)to deliver a speech to Canada's Parliament November 3, 2014 in Ottawa. Hollande told Canada's parliament Monday there is "no giving up" in the fight against terrorism, nearly two weeks after a lone gunman stormed these halls. "There's no giving up, no room for concession nor weakness in the face of terrorism," he said. "Terrorism threatens the values on which our two countries are built," he added to loud applause. He also alluded to the participation of Canadian and French war planes in air strikes against Islamic State militants in Iraq, saying the countries are "acting together in taking on their responsibilities."
