FRANCE-AGRICULTURE-PROTEST
Farmers wearing suits reading acronyms of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union take part in a protest of French farmers of the FNSEA (Federation Nationale des Syndicats d'Exploitants Agricoles) and JA (Jeunes Agriculteurs, or Young Farmers union) unions in Le Mans , western France, on November 5, 2014. France is facing widespread farmer strikes across the country on November 5, protesting their increasing constraints and charges, the collapsing prices of cereals, milk and vegetables, caused in part by the sanctions on Russia, as well as rising fertiliser prices.
