Alexandru Visinescu, Romanian communist-era prison chief, leaves the court after attending his trial his trial in Bucharest on November 5, 2014, few weeks after a Romanian court issued an arrest warrant over him after he failed to turn up for his trial for alleged crimes against humanity. Visinescu, 88, is charged with crimes against humanity during his 1956-1963 rule at the notorious Ramnicu Sarat facility, dubbed "the prison of silence," because detainees were held in solitary confinement.
