A teenage school student rape victim stands in front of the entrance to the room that she and her parents rent in a slum neighborhood in northeast New Delhi on November 5, 2014. Her alleged rapist rented a room next door (2R) and it was there that the father of the rape victim allegedly killed the alleged rapist. An Indian father behind the bars for torturing and killing his daughter's alleged rapist believes his act would instill fear in the minds of depraved criminals, his family said. The 36-year-old father of six, who cannot be named for legal reasons, turned himself in last week after gagging, strangulating and scalding the private parts of the suspect -- his 45-year-old tenant.
