FRANCE-AGRICULTURE-PROTEST
Farmers from the French farmers unions FNSEA (Federation Nationale des Syndicats d'Exploitants Agricoles) and JA (Jeunes Agriculteurs, or Young Farmers union) dump a mix of corn flour and tyres as they demonstrate outside the Pau prefecture, southwestern France, on November 5, 2014. France is facing widespread farmer strikes across the country on November 5, protesting their increasing constraints and charges, the collapsing prices of cereals, milk and vegetables, caused in part by the sanctions on Russia, as well as rising fertiliser prices.
