CANOE-FRENCH-POLYNESIA-HAWAIKI-NUI-VAA
A team paddles in their Vaa, a Polynesian outrigger canoe, on the second day of the Hawaiki Nui Vaa race on November 6, 2014, following their start from the main island of Huahine. Each year, the race brings together more than 130 teams in a three stage race over three days:- the Huahine Raiatea, (44.5 km), Raiatea-Tahaa (26 km) and Tahaa, Bora Bora (58.2 km) without changing crew.
