(FILES)-- A file photo taken on October 31, 2014 shows miners sitting outside the Ermenek coal mine as efforts continued to rescue trapped miners from the flooded coal mine in Pamuklu, around 400 kilometres south of Ankara. Turkey detained eight people on November 8, 2014 over a recent accident at a coal mine that saw flooding trap 18 workers, the country's energy minister said. Three of the detained are the owners of the mine while the other five are technical staff, Taner Yildiz told reporters in the mining town of Ermenek in southern Turkey. AFP PHOTO/ STRINGER
