Egypt's Minister of Antiquities, Mamdouh al-Damati (C) shakes hands with a tourist, in Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo on November 9, 2014, during a ceremony marking the opening of the the courtyard in front of the Sphinx and the pyramid of King Khafre. The restoration came as part of a project by the Antiquities Ministry to preserve Egypt’s heritage and promote tourism to the country.
