SAILING-RACE-RHUM-GAVIGNET
French skipper Sidney Gavignet holds the flag of Oman on November 11, 2014 after crossing the finish line to place 5th with his multihull "Musandam - Oman Sail" in the 10th edition of the Route du Rhum sailing race in Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe, in the French West Indies. Frenchman Loick Peyron won the single-handed transatlantic Route du Rhum race in a record time on November 10 cementing his reputation as one of his country's best ever yachtsmen.
