US-HAWAII-VOLCANO
This November 17, 2014 aerial image released by the US Geological Survey shows geologists surveying the cross-sectional area of the lava tube from the June 27th flow from the Kilauea Volcano in Pahoa, Hawaii using Very Low Frequency (VLF) measurements. Lava samples are also collected once a week to track the chemistry of the erupted lava over time.
