US-WEATHER-SNOW
This US Army National Guard photo released November 20, 2014 shows New York Air National Guard members from the 107th Airlift Wing, Niagara Falls, New York as they assist in snow removal from the roof of the Eden Heights Assisted Living Facility, in West Seneca, New York, on November 19, 2014. The northeastern United States braced for more ferocious snow November 20, 2014 after an early seasonal blizzard killed at least eight people and dumped more than six feet of snow near Buffalo. The National Weather Service said its "Lake Effect" snow warning would remain in effect until Friday, with visibility near zero and thunder and lightning likely to accompany the heaviest snow. An extra two to three feet of snow is expected on Thursday, with a state of emergency and travel bans still in place in Erie and Genesee Counties around the New York state city of Buffalo.
