JAPAN-NKOREA-POLITICS-AUCTION-REALESTATE-FILES
(FILES) This file picture taken on March 24, 2014 shows the building of North Korea's de facto embassy, occupied by Chongryon, Japan's North Korean residents community in Tokyo. A Japanese real estate company Marunaka Holdings took over ownership of the property on November 21, 2014 that has served as North Korea's de facto embassy for decades. Following a forced auction, the sprawling site -- a 2,390-square-metre (25,725-square-feet) plot and 10-storey building -- was officially transferred to Marunaka Holdings, after the company paid 2.21 billion yen (18.77 million USD) for the site.
