Libyans shop at a supermarket on November 25, 2014 in the eastern port city of Benghazi, one of three major Libyan cities largely controlled by militias opposed to the internationally recognised government of Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thani. The residents of Benghazi have been suffering from the lack of medicines, food supplies and many commodities and a rapidly rising cost of living due to the deteriorating security situation in the country with the Libyan economy taking a heavy hit since rebels blockaded export terminals last year, slashing all-important oil revenues.
