French architect Paul Andreu gives a press conference to mark the launch of the renewal works of "La Grande Arche de la Defense", on December 3, 2014 in La Defense, outside Paris. The monument was built between 1985 and 1989 under the supervision of Danish architect Johann Otto von Spreckelsen, who resigned on July 1986.
