FRANCE-AUCTION-BOURBON
A marble head, believed to be a depiction of Jeanne de Bourbon, wife of King Charles V of France, and dated from the XIV century, is pictured on December 5, 2014, in Paris. The head, which is up for auction on December 11, 2014, at Piasa in Paris, is believed to date from 1370 – 80 and is attributed to Jean de Liege (1330 – 1381) or his workshop. The head which measures 23 cm in height,was acquired by a Belgian industrialist 50 years ago and has until now remainded in his collection. AFP PHOTO/MIGUEL MEDINA
