Malian veterinarian turned-farmer Oumar Diabate poses on September 17, 2014 on his agro-organic farm in the village of Satinebougou, some 30 kms from the capital Bamako. Diabate grows fruits, vegetables and medecinal herbs without pesticides or chemical fertilizers and in large quantities since 2005 on arid land where grass did not grow before.
