ITALY-OPERA-SCALA-FIDELIO
This handout picture released on December 6, 2014 by the Scala Opera house of Milan shows soprano Anja Kampe "Leonore" on stage during a rehearsal of the opera "Fidelio" of Ludwig van Beethoven directed by Daniel Barenboim on the eve of the premiere of the show. The German opera which open the lyrical season of the Scala tells how Leonore, disguised as a prison guard named "Fidelio", rescues her husband Florestan from death in a political prison.
