INDONESIA-ASIA-TSUNAMI-ANNIVERSARY-COMBO
This combo shows a file photo (top) taken on January 23, 2005 of residents using an improvised raft to cross a river as an Indonesian soldier guards the area in Lhoknga in Aceh province, located on Indonesia's Sumatra island where surrounding houses and buildings were heavily damaged and coastal villages wiped out in the aftermath of the massive December 26, 2004 tsunami trigerred by an earthquake, and the same location photographed on November 29, 2014 (bottom) showing the abandoned site and a new bridge constructed nearby (back L). Indonesia will mark on December 26, 2014 the 10th year anniversary of the deadly tsunami which killed more than 170,000 people in Aceh, and tens of thousands of others in other countries around the Indian Ocean.
