This Decmebr 8, 2014 National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) handout photo shows NTSB investigators at the scene of an airplane crash in Gaithersburg, Maryland. A small jet airplane crashed into a neighborhood in the Washington, DC suburb of Gaithersburg, Maryland Monday, killing six people. The Embraer EMB-500 twin-engine jet was a mile away from Montgomery County Airport and preparing to land when the accident occurred, according to a statement from the Federal Aviation Administration. The three people aboard the plane and three people inside a house were killed when the plane went down, a city spokesman said on Twitter.
