Bangladeshis place floral wreaths as they pay homage at the Independence War Intellectual Martyrs Memorial in Dhaka on December 14, 2014. Thousands of Bangladeshis paid tribute to the dozens of intellectuals killed 43 years ago during the war which won the South Asian country independence from Pakistan. The intellectuals were systemetically killed across the former East Pakistan by the Pakistani army and their collaborators to maim the emerging nation of its talented and intellectual people.
