MAURITANIA-SAHEL-SAHARA-SECURITY-SUMMIT
Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita (3rd L), Tchadian Idriss Deby (4th L), Mauritanian Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz (5th L), Senegalese Macky Sall (6th L) and Burkinese Michel Kafondo (7th L) attend the Sahel-Sahara area security summit on December 17, 2014 in Nouakchott. This summit is part of the Nouakchott process, a framework launched in March 2013, for reflection and action to establish a structured regional cooperation between the 11 member states (Algeria, Burkina-Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Chad).
