Olympic champion swimmer Michael Phelps arrives for his trial on December 19, 2014 at the John R. Hargrove, Sr. District Court Building in Baltimore, Maryland. Phelps was given a one-year suspended sentence and 18 months probation after his arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding, a judge said Friday. He was also ordered to continue receiving treatment for alcoholism, said judge Nathan Braverman of Maryland District Court in Phelps's home state.
