This picture provided by New York City Police Department shows officer Rafael Ramos who was killed on December 20, 2014. Ramos was 40-years-old and a two year veteran of the NYPD. Police named the shooter as 28-year-old Ismaaiyl Brinsley, who shot and seriously wounded his ex-girlfriend in Baltimore early Saturday before driving to Brooklyn to murder the two police officers.
