Zaur Tsurtsumia, 78 years old, depicts Soviet dictator Josef Stalin during a march on December 21, 2014, in his native town of Gori, west of Tbilisi, to mark the 135th anniversary of Stalin's birth. The banner reads "Together with the people of Russia". While Stalin is blamed by many for the deaths of millions in purges, prison camps and forced collectivization, many people still praise him for leading the Soviet Union to victory over Nazi Germany during World War II.
