SPAIN-ARCHITECTURE-PEDRERA
The recently renovated facade of Barcelona's casa Mila or "Pedrera" (the stone quarry) emblematic modernist building by architect Antoni Gaudi is pictured on December 23, 2014 after the removal of scafolding. The building constructed between 1906 and 1912 and housing a cultural centre was in1984 inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and recently underwent an 11 month facelift costing some cost 750,000 Euros.
