British Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt leaves number 10, Downing Steet in central London following a cobra meeting to discuss Ebola on December 30, 2014, after the first Ebola patient to be diagnosed in the UK arrived in London for treatment from a hospital in Glasgow where she was diagnosed. A volunteer nurse who contracted Ebola while working in Sierra Leone was airlifted from Scotland to a specialist clinic in London on December 30. A Royal Air Force ambulance was seen entering the Royal Free Hospital. The woman, who has not been named and was diagnosed on December 29 after returning from the region on December 28, will be treated in an isolation ward in a hospital bed equipped with its own ventilation system.
