India's Bollywood actors and actresses are seemingly an omnipresent fixture in the lives of the population. If they are not seen on the large screen at a cinema starring in their latest epic, endorsing the latest mobile telephone or even the most up to date cement, then they can also be seen at parliament where a number of them grace the benches of power of the world's largest democracy.
