(FILES)-- A file photo taken on February 13, 2008 shows French film director Rene Vautier posing at his home in Cancale. Vautier, an engaged filmmaker and anti-colonialist who directed the film "Avoir 20 ans dans les Aures" on the war in Algeria, died at the age of 86 on January 4, 2015 in a hospital in Brittany, his family said.
