This handout released by the US Navy on January 4, 2015 shows sailors assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 1 and littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3) making preparations to launch a tow fish side scan sonar system from the ship's 11-m rigid hull inflatable boat while conducting search and recovery operations in support of the Indonesian-led AirAsia flight QZ8501 search efforts in the Java Sea. Hindered by rough seas, the international search teams have found fewer than 40 bodies since the plane crashed during a storm early on December 28, 2014 carrying 162 people from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore.
