Migratory bar-headed geese paddle on Asia's biggest man-made water body, the Joysagar Tank in the Sivasagar district of north-eastern Assam state on January 7, 2015. The bar-headed goose, which breeds in Central Asia in colonies of thousands near mountain lakes, migrates over the Himalayas to spend the winter in parts of South Asia and is one of the world's highest flying birds.
