US composer Bora Yoon speaks to AFP during an interview in New York on December 16, 2014. Yoon's "Sunken Cathedral" is premiering on January 14, 2015 as part of New York's Prototype festival of experimental opera. "Sunken Cathedral," an exploration on the subconscious and cultural identity, incorporates voice, electronics and instruments from various cultures, including drums from Yoon's Korean heritage.
