Korean-born Vong Pak plays the drum during a dress rehearsal for the opera "Sunken Cathedral" January 9, 2015 in New York. During the performance, Yoon explores each room of the cathedral as if it were part of the human body. "Sunken Cathedral," an exploration on the subconscious and cultural identity, incorporates voice, electronics and instruments from various cultures, including drums from Yoon's Korean heritage.
