US-OFFBEAT-WINTER JAM CENTRAL PARK
What appears to be a huge snowstorm in Central Park in New York on January 14, 2015, is actually workers making hills of artificial snow in preparation for the annual Winter Jam. The Winter Jam, to be held January 24, 2015 is the ultimate snow day, a free winter sports festival for New Yorkers of all ages, where you can go skiing, snowshoeing, shop in a winter market, and sledding in fresh snow, right in the heart of New York City.
