INDIA-TAJ MAHAL-SECURITY
The historic Taj Mahal monument is pictured as a police patrol boat moves over the Yamuna river in Agra on January 18, 2015. Known as a 'monument to love' the Taj Mahal is a mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began around 1632, was completed around 1653 and is considered one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture - a style which combines Indian, Islamic and Persian elements.
