A wind turbine propeller is being transported from the port of Montevideo along a route in the department of the same name, to a wind farm were it is going to be assembled, on December 20, 2014. Windmills are beginning to dot Uruguay's countryside as the nation prepares to become the world's biggest wind energy producer in proportion to national consumption this year.
