HAITI-POLITICS-MARTELLY-PROTEST
Demonstrators march against the government of Haitian President Michel Martelly in Port-au-Prince, on January 23, 2015. Haiti announced on January 22 it was forming a new electoral council tasked with organizing elections by the end of the year amid a serious political crisis. The council, formed as part of an agreement between Martelly and opposition political parties, includes nine representatives from religious institutions, business groups and civil society.
