JAPAN-SYRIA-IRAQ-CONFLICT-HOSTAGE
An image obtained from a video uploaded on YouTube on January 27, 2015, shows a still image of Japanese hostage Kenji Goto in an orange blouse holding a photograph allegedly showing Jordanian pilot Maaz al-Kassasbeh, who was captured by Islamic State jihadist group on December 24 in Syria, with an audio recording in which Goto spoke of the Islamic State group demand for a prisoner exchange to free Sajida al-Rishawi, a would-be suicide bomber on death row since 2006. The statement says Goto and Kassasbeh will be killed within 24 hours if Rishawi is not freed, and urges the Japanese government to put pressure on Jordan. AFP PHOTO/HO/YOUTUBE
