Spain Financial Crisis Evictions
Ruben Manzano Gomez's belongings lay outside of his apartment during the postponement of Ruben and his families eviction in Madrid, Spain, Monday, Feb. 23, 2015. Ruben Manzano Gomez and his 29 year old wife Noemi Gonzalez Cano, have 3 children and survive with a single income of 400 euros ($452) coming from Noemi's part time cleaning job. They occupied a Bankia bank apartment two years ago and tried to negotiate the payment of a lower rent but the bank is demanding their eviction. The eviction was postponed until March 31, 2015.
