An early example of facial reconstruction from photographs that helped with the identification of the decomposed body at a murder site in Scotland of Mary Rogerson dating from the 1920's, on display at a press preview of an exhibition of Forensics at the Wellcome Collection in London, Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015. An exhibition at London's art-meets-science Wellcome Collection takes visitors on a journey through the afterlife of violent death, from crime scene to mortuary, laboratory and courtroom. It's a world that's familiar from movies and TV dramas.
