Two plaster cast models of skulls used by artist Christine Borland, who was at the time able to order real skulls from the Internet, which she used to make bronze casts of faces reconstructed from these casts, at a press preview of an exhibition of Forensics at the Wellcome Collection in London, Tuesday, Feb. 24,2015. An exhibition at London's art-meets-science Wellcome Collection takes visitors on a journey through the afterlife of violent death, from crime scene to mortuary, laboratory and courtroom. It's a world that's familiar from movies and TV dramas. But curator Lucy Shanahan said Tuesday that the exhibition’s aim is to show the "real lives and personal narratives at the heart of forensics."
