House Swastikas
State Sen. Marty Block, D-San Diego, chairman of the Legislature's Jewish Caucus, displays a photo of a Sacramento area home decorated with swastikas during a news conference at the Capitol in Sacramento, Calif., Thursday Feb. 26, 2015. Block, flanked by other members of the Legislature and representatives of veterans groups, called for the the homeowner to remove the symbols used by German Nazis in World War II. The flags show swastikas replacing stars in one American and two Israeli flags. There is also a Palestinian flag and a statue made of wood of a figure raising its arms and dressed in army green.
