Christmas trees are tossed into a bonfire as Fred Blasdel, right, watches on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015 at Golden Gardens Beach Park. Nearly 100 Christmas trees were set ablaze in a fire pit during the annual Point83 cyclist club tree burn. Participants bring their trees to the inferno, most via bicycle. The fire was eventually extinguished by Seattle firefighters after they were called along with Seattle Police officers. The bonfire has become an annual tradition, attracting hundreds of people.
