Morocco Migrant Business
In this photo taken Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 Ivory Coast's Marthe N’Dri, right in the shop, works in her cosmetics and food products shop in Casablanca, Morocco. Marthe N’Dri began her beauty business in Morocco just by going to people’s homes to do braids and hair weaves, using skills she picked up as a beautician in her native Ivory Coast. Now she wants to add these skills to her tiny corner stall in the narrow warren of alleys known as the Senegalese Market in Casablanca. Next to the racks of hair extensions, cosmetics, plantains and bags of manioc, the plan is to put in a chair and do makeovers with the help of local organization providing business advice to immigrants. It is simple dreams like this that could be the future face of immigration in Morocco. (AP Photo/Abdeljalil Bounhar)
