Child Abuse Death

A woman who allowed her husband to fatally abuse a 2-year-old boy left in their care has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. Thirty-eight-year-old Melissa Brittle of Thurmont was sentenced Wednesday in Frederick. The judge suspended another 20 years.
