Turtle Release
In this photo provided by the Florida Keys News Bureau, Richie Moretti, left, and Bette Zirkelbach, release Emerald, an endangered juvenile green sea turtle, Tuesday, March 17, 2015, off the Florida Keys near Marathon, Fla. In November 2013, the reptile was found floating on the fringes of the Key West, Fla., Nature Preserve emaciated and heavily covered with epibiota, or external parasites, giving the turtle a greenish hue that earned her the name. Emerald was taken to the Turtle Hospital for treatment, including the removal of cauliflower-like fibropapilloma tumors that covered her eyes.
