New York - Retro
Mise en service d'un métro de 1917 composé de 4 wagons "Spéciale Nostalgie" pour acheminer les fans des Yankees de Grand Central, la grande gare sur la 42ème rue au Yankee Stadium, dans le Bronx à New York, le 6 avril 2015 à l'occasion de la reprise du championnat de baseball. Le métro est parti à 11h30 environ pour arriver au stade 30 minutes plus tard. Pour cette opération la Interborouh Rapid Transit (IRT) a remis en service une rame qui avait fonctionné de 1917 au début des années 60. Providing Yankee fans with a little pre-game fun, the four-car ?Nostalgia Special? left 42 St-Grand Central at approximately 11:30 a.m.Monday morning arriving at 161 St-Yankee Stadium about 30 minutes later. The cars, originally operated by the Interborough Rapid Transit (IRT) system, entered service in 1917 and worked into the early 1960s.
