Clashes during Ramadan in Palestine
A masked Palestinian youth gets ready to hurl a rock at Israeli forces in the Palestinian West Bank village of Kafr Qaddum. On the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, in the Palestinian West Bank village of Kafr Qaddum, villagers protested against Israeli soldiers and settlements during the month of Ramadan. Despite this fact, villagers braved the heat and marched towards the illegal Israeli settlement of Qedumim and demanded that the road be opened for the village as well. Israeli soldiers often seal off roads that lead to settlements, isolating Palestinian villages in the area. However, moments later, Israeli forces stormed the village, firing stun grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets at protesters. West Bank, Palestine, on June 20, 2015.
