TO GO WITH AFP STORY "AUSTRALIA-RELIGION-FAKE"
(FILES) Photo taken 29 May 2004 shows a ensemble of statuettes filling the altar after a small crucifex and statue of the Virgin Mary at the Vietnamese Catholic church in Brisbane, were witnessed to have seeped rose oil and then blood by parishoners. Catholic officials in Brisbane announced, on 29 July 2004, that the phenomena, which led thousands of Australia-s Vietnamese Catholic community to make a pilgrimage to the church, was fake and ordered the statues be removed from display.
